Debian and Ubuntu
Wammu is now included in Debian and Ubuntu. Testing versions are uploaded to Debian experimental. For older Ubuntu releases, there are also up to date versions available through Ubuntu PPA.

Windows
There are two installers; the first includes all you need to run Wammu, and the other has only Wammu itself, which requires you to install all dependencies. The full installation package is recommended for unexperienced users.

Linux distributions
Several distributions already include Wammu and Gammu packages. You might prefer them to using source code.
